Hello, my name is Miguel A. Diaz and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. I was born and raised in rural South Texas, which gives me a deep understanding of the unique challenges our local communities face when it comes to mental health care. My experience as a U.S. Army veteran has taught me the importance of resilience, service, and compassion—values I bring to every client relationship.
I specialize in providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. My practice focuses on increasing access to care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, especially those living in underserved rural areas. Whether you’re new to mental health treatment or looking for ongoing support, you can expect care that is empathetic, evidence-based, and tailored to your individual needs.
I welcome you to reach out and take that first step toward improving your well-being.
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, OCD, and substance use concerns. My background includes structured treatment settings supporting recovery, stabilization, and long-term mental health management.
I provide warm, practical, and judgment-free care where clients feel heard and supported. Many people come to treatment feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to begin, and my goal is to simplify the process and provide clear direction forward.
I focus on thoughtful medication management and practical strategies that support lasting stability and meaningful progress.

Jada’s expertise is in anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders.
It’s okay to need support. Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, mood changes, trauma, depression, or panic begin affecting your ability to feel like yourself. You may notice your mind won’t slow down, your sleep is off, or it’s harder to focus and keep up with daily responsibilities. When stress builds or world events add to the weight you’re carrying, it can start to feel like too much to manage alone. Many people reach a point where coping strategies no longer feel like enough, and that’s often when support can make a real difference.
I believe care should feel personal, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. I take time to understand your story, not just your symptoms, and create a space where you feel comfortable being open without fear of judgment. I’ll be honest and supportive, helping you make sense of what you’re experiencing while offering guidance that feels practical and manageable.
My goal is to help you feel more balanced, clear, and confident in navigating your day-to-day life.
