Hello, I provide a supportive and nonjudgemental space for clients. I have experience working with individuals with a trauma/PTSD experience. My approach is in helping clients build insight with compassion. I believe therapy is a space to help an individual grow and heal.
When working with clients, I strive to make the therapy experience respectful and genuine. Everyone's journey to personal resilience is unique and there is no one size fits all solution. My approach is flexible and client centered. I often explore childhood attachment issues which can assist the client in achieving sustained emotional growth.
My name is Andrea Rubenstein. I am a Licensed Psychologist. I am honored to support people in improving their well-being. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and a large range of symptomatology.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth therapy for adults. Using CBT with somatic and mindfulness techniques, I support mind-body healing and help clients navigate depression, anxiety, and life transitions. My goal is to foster self-awareness, confidence, and lasting growth.
I believe therapy is a journey, one in which the client is the navigating driver. As a Licensed marriage and family therapist, I take the passenger seat and support my clients in the direction they chose to go with in their therapeutic journey. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my clients, drawing on empathy, respect, and transparency to create a safe and nonjudgmental environment.
I specialize in working with women and parents navigating major life transitions. This includes those dealing with pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, infertility, and pregnancy loss. I also work with clients processing birth-related trauma or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety and identity shifts.
I am an LMFT with 7 years of licensed experience in the field as a therapist. I went back to school and completed by doctorate 2 years ago in Psychodynamic Psychology and Psychotherapy. I specialized early in my career in helping parents foster attachment with their children. Now I use that expertise and focus on interpersonal relational work with adults. My approach can help you gain a better understanding of how relationships shape who you are, how you connect with others, and how your earliest relationships play a role in current challenges.
My journey to becoming a therapist began years before I attended college. From an early age, I found myself listening to others and offering suggestions. I have spent many years working with individuals in various capacities. Once I began my career, it was clear that the helping profession was the right fit, as I enjoy working with people. I consider it a privilege to work with clients who choose to open up and share some of the most difficult and painful parts of their lives with me. I am often reminded of why I do this work each time I meet a client and I hear their story and learn how they have coped. I am in awe of how resilient people are in the midst of their storms. My education to become a therapist includes obtaining a Masters degree in clinical social work as well as a license in clinical social work. In addition, I hold a doctorate in education which allows me to integrate my clinical expertise along with psychoeducation into my practice.
